Surf and Roll on two albums: Las Chicas Del Bombón
They are an edgy Surf and Roll band hailin’ from San Pedro, California and definitely make their musical entrance in style. Bombón throws steady rhythms at us, DIY punk screams and dreamy guitar riffs which let the sixties Surf Rock revive. They are unique in the sense of mixing Surf, Rock’n Roll and Punk sounds in an enjoyable long drink called Las Chicas Del Bombón.
This three-piece band consist of Angela Ramos, Paloma Bañuelos, and Jerico Campbell and started playing in 2009. These girls have released two album Las Chicas Del Bombón LP” in 2013 and “A Date with Bombón” in 2015.
Bombón’s finest Surf and Rock tunes
Songs like “Somebody Told Me”, “Swedish Fish” and “Dance Just Like Annette” absolutely show how good these girls bring their music. Their vocals are creative, Rock and Roll, raw edged but above all, a pleasure to listen to. Screams and choirs , guitar solos and bass interludes go hand in hand. Drum rhythms change from traditional surf to old school garage rock.

Bombon performing in Californa
For now, They perform mostly in their home state California but I’m convinced these girls would fit easily on other stages in the United States, Europe, Russia and Australia.
