Lonnie Coleman’s Atlanta Recording Old Rock Island Blues

Lonnie Coleman Atlanta Recording Old Rock Island Blues

Atlanta Bluesman Lonnie Coleman Recorded two songs for Columbia records in 1929. One of the songs is “Old Rock Island Blues”, a traditional blues song containing some fine rhythmic Banjo and soulful vocals.

Atlanta Blues

All very soulful and recorded in the late 20s or early 30s.  Featured artist like Barbecue Bob, Blind Willie Mc Tell and Peg Leg Howell are worth listening.
