ALBUM | “Maness Brothers Bring Rock n’ Roll back into the forefront of the promise land”

Well, this Blues ‘n Roll duo hailin’ from Missouri is influenced by The Hooten Hallers, Radio Moscow, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion anR. L. Burnside.  If that doesn’t make you interested in their sound! The Maness Brother combine some of the grooviest rock ‘n roll with Blues Rock and made heavy guitar and harmonica solos a trademark of their sound.

This April the Maness Brothers released their latest album called “Maness Brothers” . As far as blues and rock can be combined the Maness Brother sho’ know how to do that.  From A to Z, songs are heavy, bluesy and groovy.  Like “Bailin’Hay”, which features killer up-tempo drums, screaming harmonica tunes and some fine slide guitar.

Preview of new Left Lane Cruiser Album Claw Machine Wizard 

Good news for all heavy blues rockers. Left Lane Cruiser is set to release their new record “Claw Machine Wizard” on Alive Naturalsound records.  On this album, the band returns to its original two-man format. 

Earlier we wrote about the split album from these Guys with 20 Watt Tombstone in 2016. Now the spring comes close we look forward to more grooving heavy blues, addictive guitar riffs and up tempo beats like in “Claw Machine Wizard”.  Left Lane Cruiser already gave us a sneakers preview. Left Lane Cruiser made name for themselves as a trash blues duo hailin’ from Indiana. Their record label Tells us:  “Claw Machine Wizard” features corky barn burners like “Claw Machine Wizard” and “Booga Chaka”, alongside punked out blues numbers such as “Burn Em Brew” and “High Maintenance”.

Heavy Blues and Swampy Hard Rock from Meantooth Grin

Meantooth Grin’s song ‘Homeless and Homesick’ brings a fine feeling of the blues and makea you want to discover more about this band and their music. Meantooth Grin is a blues rock trio from  the north country of Wisconsin. These guys bring a lot more than electric Blues, but the sound of Junior Kimbrough and R.L. Burnside sho’ is there. They also have some similarities to bands like ZZ Top and Clutch.

Mix of Hard Rock and Heavy Blues

In their repertoire you will finde some classic blues tracks, but the sho’do know how to bring some heavy rock to your home. According to their bio: “some people have argued that the band is too heavy to be considered Blues, this did not stop several blues lists and sites from giving the album a very high rating”. The best way to to judge that is to listen for yourself and you probable see that in between de hard riffs there are is a lot of grooving blues tunes.
